Penn State Trustees Say Paterno Firing was Over “Failure of Leadership”
The Penn State board of trustees released a statement yesterday to further explain their rationale for the dismissal of Joe Paterno as head coach last November. Later in the day the Paterno family issued a response. WPSU’s Emily Reddy reports.

They can say whatever they want, they had no class in how they handled the situation. Most ,if not all on the board are business professionals, leaders in their field. They would have been fired or they would have dismissed people that worked for them had they handled a situation like this in their own company. In my opinion they panicked and reacted without much clear thought other than to protect themselves. I have no doubt members of the board were well aware of this problem a long time ago.
